One Year Anniversary of Cross Fellowship In Greensboro, NC
This past Sunday, February 8, 2015, Cross Fellowship in Greensboro, NC celebrated their one year anniversary as a church plant. Cross Fellowship was planted out of Open Door Church in Raleigh, NC through the NACPF. The church is also supported by Stafford Crossing Community Church and Mt. Ararat Church in Stafford VA.
Cross Fellowship is led by three elders: Pastor Jeremy Cooper, Pastor BT Burke, and Pastor Woody Taylor. They had 125+ people in attendance on Sunday morning to worship together, watch several baptisms, and celebrate their one year anniversary. It was evident during the service that Cross Fellowship is made up of a diverse group of people with a variety of ages and ethnicities who love one another and love Christ. The leadership and members at Cross Fellowship are doing a great job of being in the community and reaching their neighbors with the gospel. Pastor BT preached on 1 Peter 5:6-11 and having joy in the midst of suffering. He talked about how the reality of suffering is real and in order for us to endure, our hearts and minds must be in the right place and must be centered on Christ.
After the service, the church body gathered together to have lunch and fellowship with one another. Mike Dodson (NACPF Board Member and NAMB Mobilization Missionary) and Jenna DiPrima were given the opportunity to cast vision to partnering churches about the NACPF and answer questions.
Please join us in continuing to pray for Cross Fellowship as they seek to reach their community with the gospel. You can learn more about Cross Fellowship on their Website, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
