Missions Conference at the Mill Church
The Mill Church (or Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church) is located in Spartanburg, SC and is a Philippian Network Church in the NACPF that is partnering with Mosaic Boston. The NACPF was invited to be part of The Mill’s missions conference last weekend. The goal of the conference was to help the membership of The Mill more fully embrace missional living. Zach Nelson was able to represent the NACPF at the conference and to share with The Mill how the NACPF could come alongside of them to strengthen their church planting efforts and to introduce them to other like-minded churches. Zach was able to have several one-on-one conversations with those who desire to be more fully engaged with church planting. Zach also had the opportunity to speak to 5 different small groups/Sunday school classes in order to cast vision about being a healthy church planting church and their responsibility as healthy church members. After his time at The Mill, Zach was freshly reminded that God will bless the church's efforts of disciple-making. According to Zach, “when a church faithfully sets their heart on exalting Christ by following him and living out the command of disciple-making, the result is leaders being raised up that will be sent out on mission to be a part of fulfilling the Great Commission and the growth of God’s kingdom.”
Please join us in praying for the Mill Church as they seek to continue impacting missionaries and church planters and as they raise up leaders to be sent throughout North America and the world.
