Mercy Hill Church Charter Service

Pillar Network Church Mercy Hill held it’s charter service on Sunday, July 19th. It was an amazing day of celebration and commitment. During the service, members from Mercy Hill and The Church on Fillmore signed the new church’s covenant and united 77 years of gospel ministry with a new vision for the future.

Pastor Anthony Cox and fellow Elders led the church in worship, which included observing the Lord’s Supper and baptizing a new follower of Jesus. Pastor Dwayne Milioni from Open Door Church in Raleigh, NC, shared a challenging message for the new church from Deuteronomy 30, and Pastor Bill Curtis from Cornerstone Baptist Church in Darlington, SC, led in a prayer of commitment over the newly affirmed Elders. The service was attended by many people from the community, and included representatives from the Phoenix Baptist Association, the Arizona Baptist Convention, and the North American Mission Board. The service concluded with a fellowship meal.

God is doing amazing things through this new church start. Potential ministry partners may contact Pastor Anthony Cox for information about sharing in the vision of Mercy Hill Church.
