Meet Cross Fellowship Church, Greensboro, NC

On Good Friday we celebrate the humiliation and death of Jesus Christ. Because of God's plan to send His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, as an offering for sin, the worst of all events has become the best of all events. The death of Jesus accomplishes the death of sin and sets the stage of revival of sinners. And if this was not enough, the death and resurrection of Jesus opens the door for a world of other blessings; one of which we believe is the opportunity to gather together as churches, to proclaim His death and celebrate His life. On this Good Friday it is with gratitude to the Lord that we introduce the Cross Fellowship team, in this week's NACPF church planter post.

What are the reasons you decided to plant a church in your city? Greensboro is a pretty awesome place. We saw a need for an NACPF church in this part of the city of Greensboro with a desire to pursue a multi-cultural/multi-ethnic congregation.

What have you seen the Lord do in and through your church plant so far? We’ve seen some good spiritual growth of new believers. We have seen a group of people (our core group) get excited about reaching a community of lost people for God’s kingdom.

What do you hope to see the Lord do in and through your church plant in the future? We want to see lost people come to Christ, mature through discipleship, and live on mission for the Gospel in Greensboro and beyond, through church planting.

What advice do you have for future church planters? You need a mentor that loves church planting that knows you and loves you and is willing to take the time to listen and to advise.

What else would you like to share with the readers of our blog? I loved the NACPF long before I was ever actually a part of one of our church plants. I believe in what we are doing and how we are doing it.
